Terms and Conditions

Version 1. In force from 2 November 2026.

These Terms and Conditions (also called our Terms of Use) are the rules for using the LAYAN TV website (layantv.com) and, if you are invited, the LAYAN TV private preview. This is a short version for the period before LAYAN TV opens to everyone. We expect to replace it with a fuller version before then. We will tell you before the new version takes effect.

1. Who we are

LAYAN TV is run by LAYAN TV ENTERPRISE, a sole proprietorship registered in Malaysia, registration no. 202603269671 (SA0659054-M) ("LAYAN TV", "we", "us"). Our contact details are at the end of these terms.

2. What LAYAN TV is today

LAYAN TV is a service for watching short drama series. It has not opened to the public. At the moment:

No series is publicly available, nothing on LAYAN TV costs money today, and no paid plan is on sale. We do not promise that any particular series will always be available. Series can be added, changed or removed.

3. Accepting these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you create an account, or you are invited to the private preview, we ask you to accept these terms when you press Continue, and we record which version you accepted. If you do not agree, please do not use LAYAN TV.

4. Who can have an account

You must be 18 or older.

5. Your account

To sign in, you use a one-time sign-in code sent to your email. Keep your email account secure, and do not let anyone else use your account or your sign-in codes. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe has been compromised, to protect you.

6. The private preview

If you are invited, the preview is private. Please do not post or share screenshots or recordings from it, and do not let anyone else use your account or your sign-in codes. The information note you receive for the preview explains what data we collect for it. The preview runs for a limited time, and we may change or end it.

7. Using LAYAN TV fairly

You agree not to:

8. Our content, and your right to watch it

The series, trailers, images, text, logos and software on LAYAN TV belong to us, to the creators who license them to us, or to other rights holders, and are protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to watch content through LAYAN TV for your own non-commercial use. We give you no other rights. The LAYAN TV name and logo identify our business: please do not use them without our written permission. Where our content rights stand today is set out in Content Rights and Creator Licensing.

9. Content from viewers

LAYAN TV does not accept comments or other content from viewers at the moment. If we add this, we will ask you to accept the rules for it first.

10. Rights complaints

If you believe something on LAYAN TV infringes your copyright or other rights, write to layantv.support@gmail.com and tell us: who you are, which work is yours, where the material appears on LAYAN TV, why you believe it infringes your rights, and how to reach you. We will consider it fairly and act where appropriate.

11. Other companies' services

Payments are run by other companies, which have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their services, subject to your statutory rights.

12. Availability

We work to keep LAYAN TV running, but it may be interrupted, for example for maintenance, faults or events outside our control. Because the private preview is an early version of a new service, it may also contain errors. We do not promise that LAYAN TV will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other law, or any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that, we are responsible to you only for loss that was a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach or negligence. We are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control or by services we do not control.

14. Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or end your access or your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if this is needed to protect other people, our service or rights holders, or if the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first. In urgent cases we may act first and explain afterwards. You can stop using LAYAN TV at any time and ask us to delete your account (clause 15).

15. Deleting your account

Write to layantv.support@gmail.com to ask us to delete your account. We delete accounts within 30 days of the request, except for data we must or may lawfully keep, as our Privacy Policy explains.

16. Changes

We may change the website, the service or these terms. If a change makes your position worse (for example new fees or fewer rights), we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or on the website before it takes effect, and you can stop using LAYAN TV before then.

For a paid plan, see the Subscription Policy.

Other changes (for example to make a term clearer, to update our contact details or to meet a legal requirement) take effect when we publish them. Every version has a version number and a date. You can ask us for an earlier version.

17. If the business moves to a company

We may transfer the business, these terms and accounts to a company controlled by the proprietor of LAYAN TV ENTERPRISE. We will tell you before this happens, and your rights under these terms stay the same. For your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

18. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at layantv.support@gmail.com, and we will try to resolve the matter fairly. You may also bring a claim to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (TTPM) where it applies, or go to court. Malaysian law governs these terms, and you and we may bring claims in the courts of Malaysia. Nothing here stops you from using the Tribunal.

19. Language

These terms are available in Bahasa Melayu and in English. If the two versions differ, the Bahasa Melayu version applies.

20. Notices

We contact you at your account email address or on the website. Send notices to us at the email address or postal address below.
